snakes are the limit of form, the liminal character at the edge of form and formlessness. The Don't Panda and the Proboscis Chieftan have spent time as snakes, when they eschewed their quotidian bodies, to slither closer to the ontological centre.
I had a discussion with a friend of mine about this idea. She said,
"Hang on wes, I would argue that snakes are not simple but are actually quite complicated".
I said, "ok, well compared to lizards, who have legs, they are simple..".
She said, "Well no, I wouldn't say that..".
I said, "Karen, give me a break..."
